Facial Treatments
Chemical Peel
Chemical peel is a facial treatment that is used to remove damaged skin cells through a procedure that causes the skin to exfoliate and eventually peel off, revealing fresh and new skin underneath. To do this, a solution is applied to help remove the surface of the skin.
Pre-Treatment Instructions:
- Avoid tanning sessions for at least 3 weeks before treatment.
- Do not use products containing components such as Retin-A, Renova, Differin or any vitamin A derivative for 5 days before treatment.
- Do not wax the treated area for at least 7 days, do not undergo electrolysis.
Post-Treatment Instructions:
- Apply a moisturizer if necessary if you have dry skin, which is likely due to the peeling process caused by the treatment.
- Do not apply topical medications or AHA or BHA products to the area for 5-7 days after treatment as they can be irritating.
- Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure for at least 7 days. Do not forget to apply sunscreen.
- Avoid pulling or pinching loose skin, as this may cause hyperpigmentation or scarring.
- Do not wax the treated area for at least 7 days, do not undergo electrolysis.
